Ultrasound whole abdomen is a real-time picture of the inside of the body using sound wave. In generally is painless and non-invasive. 2 part of ultrasound can see:

- The upper abdominal ultrasound can see liver, spleen, gall bladder, upper bile duct, kidneys, aorta and pancreas. To examine the abnormalities of kidney stones, gallstones, liver mass, kidney tumor.
- The lower abdomen ultrasound can see the uterus, ovaries in female, prostate in male, bladder and other areas of the lower abdomen. To examined the abnormalities of tumors/ovarian cysts, abnormal-sized prostate gland in male, bladder stones and tumors.
